ChronicHelper helps chronic sufferers get a community & a strong network
ChronicHelper is an app designed to assist you whether you're an academic advisor, student, or just entering the workforce. The app provides a clear overview of the options and rights available to individuals with chronic illnesses during their education or when entering the job market. Everything is conveniently gathered in one place, guiding and directing you on aspects such as applying for disability supplements, assistive devices, and more. The app also features a chat function, allowing anonymous users to chat with individuals living with chronic conditions.
The process
ChronicHelper needed a visual overhaul and an improvement of the user experience, as users did not find the app inviting and interesting despite its practical functionality. This is a project I worked on in my free time, collaborating with my brother, who is an app developer. I took charge of all UX and UI work, creating an entirely new and modern interface design, including a new logo, icons and illustrations. The app will be in App Store soon.
