Project overview

Crafting Micro Interactions, Accessibility & CVI

In this project i've created a digital documentation (CVI) as a reference to guide the communication and design of the Vestas brand in a digital context to set direction for how they communicate visually. The purpose of the project was to to retain and increase the value of the Vestas brand, whereas it is important that the brand has a consistent and cohesive experience. I also worked with accessibility and how it could be added to the CVI and digital experience. It is important that we ensure accessibility in typography and the use of color. Furthermore I worked on crafting some micro interactions that could be implemented on the digital experience. The purpose of this was to contribute to enhancing the overall user experience.

The process

My task was to transform the digital experience to be perceived as flexible, interesting and alive. I’ve created some misaligned layout that helps with these associations. When applying the misaligned layout, I’ve added some micro interaction to help guiding the focus for the user. Micro interactions has been applied on some sections on the website. I also provided a new library for functional icons. The client wanted some icons that were lighter and simpler, but still had some brand recognition. The overall digital experience took accessibility requirements into account.
